Emmanuel DeAugustino has been going through some changes lately: her attitude, her look, her determination, almost everything. Though she's oblivious, her best friend, Cristine Yoder, has noticed. No one knows when this change started, but it seems to be happening little by little since she returned from a business trip in Tokyo, Japan. Now, someone else has taken notice. Someone from her past appears and gives her a much needed, but much unwanted, education. Her history opens the door on abilities she never knew she had. Doing so unleashes her dark side. A story of survival and vengeance, a Savage Awakening is unleashed on New York City and numerous people are in her crosshairs.
