Michael Gingrich

Michael Gingrich writes character-driven superhero fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and horror for readers who love extraordinary heroes, complicated villains, and stories where the consequences matter as much as the action.

He is the creator of The Overdrive Saga, an expanding universe of superhuman abilities, government conspiracies, ancient mythology, and larger-than-life conflicts grounded in the struggles of the people caught in the middle. Through The Overdrive Reports and Fibre, Gingrich blends explosive action, sharp humor, emotional storytelling, and unforgettable characters into tales about power, sacrifice, loyalty, and the fight for a world worth saving.

For Gingrich, stories have always been about more than the battle between good and evil. They’re about the people behind the masks, the choices that define them, and what happens when doing the right thing comes at a terrible cost. His work celebrates broken heroes, complicated relationships, unexpected alliances, and the stubborn belief that even when the odds are impossible, some causes are still worth fighting for.

When he isn’t writing, Gingrich enjoys gaming, music, science fiction and fantasy, and spending time with his family. Based in Indiana, he continues to expand the Overdrive universe, one story, one character, and one hell of a fight at a time.
